Glucagon-like peptide-2 exhibits protective effect on hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats

Naci Topaloğlu,Adem Küçük,Şule Yıldırım,Mustafa Tekin,Havva Erdem,Mustafa Deniz

Frontiers of Medicine 2015, Volume 9, Issue 3,   Pages 368-373 doi: 10.1007/s11684-015-0403-1

Abstract: /reperfusion (I/R) injury in pulmonary, intestinal, and myocardial tissue. We investigated the potential role of GLP-2 pretreatment on hepatic I/R injury in rats. The first group was the control group; the second group was the vehicle-treated hepatic ischemia/reperfusionA portal triad was created to induce ischemia with a vascular atraumatic clamp. After 40 min, the clamp was released to initiate hepatic reperfusion for 6 h.

Frontiers of Medicine 2010, Volume 4, Issue 3,   Pages 317-322 doi: 10.1007/s11684-010-0035-4

Abstract: The inhibitory effect of different reperfusion periods 45 min following hepatic ischemia on the expressionrandomly divided into four groups: normal control group (CO group), sham-operated group (SO group), ischemiarat model of I/R was established by using a non-invasive artery clamp to clip (45 min) or relax the hepaticIt is suggested that the digestive tract congestion injury caused by liver ischemia can upregulate theexpression of CCK and VIP in the jejunum following reperfusion.

Frontiers of Medicine 2007, Volume 1, Issue 4,   Pages 433-437 doi: 10.1007/s11684-007-0085-4

Abstract: The effect of peripherally administered oxytocin (OT) on gastric ischemia-reperfusion injury (GI-RI)The animal GI-RI model was established by clamping the celiac artery for 30 min to induce ischemia andthen released to allow reperfusion for 1 h, and the degree of GI-RI was assessed by scoring the gastricresults indicated that the oxytocin could significantly protect gastric mucosal against injury induced by ischemia-reperfusion
